This policy explains how Skill Issue handles information on skillissue.solutions, including website visits, support requests, and the optional public analytics sharing feature connected to your X account.
This policy applies to the Skill Issue marketing site, download pages, support pages, public profile pages hosted on skillissue.solutions, and the share flow that lets you publish an optional public analytics profile from the Skill Issue app.
Information you choose to publish through the public-profile feature.
Identity and connection data
Your X username, display name, and avatar when you connect X for public sharing.
Temporary share-link session records used to complete the browser-to-app connection.
Publish-token records and related timestamps used to authenticate future profile updates.
Technical and security data
Standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and request timing that our hosting, authentication, and storage providers may process when you use the site.
Error and security information needed to troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
What public sharing includes
When you enable public sharing, Skill Issue uploads only the data needed to render your public profile:
Your X identity metadata: display name, username, and avatar.
All-time overview counts from Skill Issue Analytics.
Your used-skills summary with usage counts.
Publish timestamps and payload hashes used for sync and deduplication.
The public profile lives at skillissue.solutions/<your-x-username>. Anyone with the link can view that page. Skill Issue does not currently maintain a public directory or leaderboard of shared profiles.
What Skill Issue does not upload for public sharing
Conversation titles, transcript bodies, prompts, system prompts, or raw conversation events.
Project names, local file paths, workspace roots, or other filesystem details.
Private analytics sections such as model breakdowns, tools, billing, latency, quality analysis, or activity heatmaps.
Anything from hidden or system-only threads excluded from the public snapshot.
How we use information
To operate, secure, and improve skillissue.solutions and the public-profile feature.
To authenticate X connections, issue and verify publish credentials, and render public profile pages.
To respond to support requests, abuse reports, takedown requests, and security incidents.
To enforce our Terms and protect the service against fraud, misuse, or technical abuse.
Processors and infrastructure
Skill Issue may use the following providers to operate this service:
X for account authentication and profile identity data.
Supabase for authentication sessions and storage of public profile records, publish tokens, and share-link sessions.
Cloudflare for hosting skillissue.solutions, rendering public pages, and serving related API routes and images.
Retention and deletion
Share-link sessions are time-limited and expire after roughly 10 minutes if they are not completed.
Publish tokens may be replaced when you reconnect X and are removed when you remove your public profile.
When you remove the public page from Skill Issue Settings, Skill Issue deletes the public profile row, stored public snapshot, publish tokens, and share-link session records used for this feature, and the public route returns 404.
Support and abuse emails may be kept as long as reasonably needed to respond, investigate, and document the request.
Your choices
You can use Skill Issue without enabling public sharing.
You can disable public sharing and remove the page from Skill Issue Settings at any time.
You can reconnect X if you want to switch accounts or re-enable sharing later.
